PRP Hair Loss – Non-invasive treatment for thinning hair.
Our hair’s appearance plays a significant role in how we look and feel about ourselves – as shown by how much time and energy we devote to grooming every day. However, what is surprising is how little we (men and women) talk about our hair when it thins or begins to fall out. For most, thinning hair and hair loss has an emotional toll, and for some, it can be devastating. Hair loss or thinning hair is not gender specific, as recent worldwide statistics site that 40% of those suffering from hair loss are women. While some may think that hair restoration is an aesthetic choice, we happen to believe that treating hair loss helps our clients emotionally by restoring confidence. With a customized PRP non-surgical hair replacement treatment plan, it is possible for men and women to feel good about their hair again.
How can PRP help hair loss?
A Google “hair loss treatments” search will produce thousands of gimmick treatments for hair loss…. making it difficult to sift through legitimate options. That said, PRP will also be amongst your search results and we attest that it is the real deal. PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and uses proven regenerative science, to create serums from growth factors extracted from your own blood. Your actual serum is then used to activate specific latent or “damaged hair follicles”.
*Prior to beginning treatments, we will conduct an assessment to confirm you are in fact a good candidate, as well, this consultation gives you the opportunity to ask questions.
What happens during my PRP thinning hair treatment?
At your treatment appointment, we draw a small amount of your blood and then put it through a centrifuge so that the “juicy” cells (aka your growth factors and platelets) are isolated from the red and white cells. We then transfer to a syringe and your PRP serum is injected into your scalp using a very fine needle U225 Gun.
The tiny injections are in fact, tiny wounds and your PRP growth factors & fibroblasts help the body regenerate the tissues in the treatment area. After a treatment, you scalp will be healthier because of increased blood supply and the follicles will have the best environment for thriving and growing.
Does PRP hurt?
While it may sound daunting to have needles injected into your scalp, our technique is finely tuned and most of our patients rank the discomfort as a 3 or 4 out of 10.

Is PRP for hair loss safe?
PRP is proven effictive as it has been in the medical world for years. In fact, it is most commonly known to the general public for its use in treating professional athletes for sport injuries. Specifically for hair loss, PRP uses the same mechanism our body uses to heal wounds, but to help create the perfect conditions for hair growth instead.
PRP vs. hair transplant?
For those who do not like the appearance of artificial looking “doll hairs” or the linear scars that can sometimes come with transplants, PRP is the perfect option. What our patients love is that the hair is “all theirs”. PRP allows your hair to look natural….in fact this treatment is natural, as we are using your platelets.
Principles of A-PRP®
Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (A-PRP) is a natural therapy that exploits the generative potential contained in our platelets, in order to induce tissue repair and new tissue regeneration.
A-PRP induces regeneration of the hair bulb environment, increasing blood supply and enhancing hair follicle cell proliferation, resulting in stronger, nicer hairs.
In stimulating the hair bulb environment, A-PRP provokes a natural process that results in strengthened hairs. Its natural “autologous” quality excludes side effects.
